1. God Wants You for a Friend
Key Verse: “I no longer call you servants… Instead, I have called you friends.”
John 15:15 NIV
Reflection: God created you not for religion but for relationship. His greatest desire is friendship with you—one that lasts into eternity.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for calling me friend. Help me to draw closer to You each day. Amen.
2. Your Life Has a Purpose
Key Verse: “For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord…
Jeremiah 29:11 NIV
Reflection: You are not an accident. God designed your life with intention—your gifts, passions, and even your challenges serve His greater plan.
Prayer: Father, remind me that my life is in Your hands and my purpose is found in You. Amen.
3. Strength in Weakness
Key Verse: “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.”
2 Corinthians 12:9 NIV
Reflection: Your struggles are not signs of failure but opportunities for God’s strength to shine through you.
Prayer: Lord, in my weakness, show Your strength. Be my sufficiency today. Amen.
4. Why Am I Here?
Key Verse: “I have loved you with an everlasting love.”
Jeremiah 31:3 NIV
Reflection: The deepest question of life—Why am I here?—finds its answer in God’s nature. God doesn’t just have love; God is love. Before the universe existed, you were already the focus of His heart. He created you so He could love you, and every breath you take is proof of that love. Your purpose begins with receiving His love and learning to love Him in return.
Prayer: Lord, thank You for creating me out of Your love. Help me to live each day knowing my purpose is to know You and to love You back. Amen.
5. What Went Wrong?
Key Verse: “The wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
Romans 6:23 NIV
Reflection: Nobody’s perfect. We don’t live up to our own standards, much less God’s. Sin breaks our relationship with Him and ripples into every part of life—marriage, work, relationships, even finances. We often try to fill the void with temporary fixes, but nothing can satisfy the longing of our hearts. What we’re really searching for is God Himself—the relationship we were created to enjoy.
Prayer: Lord, I admit I fall short and cannot fix myself. Thank You for offering me the gift of life through Jesus. Help me to turn to You instead of false substitutes. Amen.
6. What’s the Solution?
Key Verse: “By grace you have been saved through faith. And this is not your own doing; it is the gift of God.”
Ephesians 2:8 ESV
Reflection: The answer is simple yet profound: Jesus is the Way. He didn’t come to point to a path—He came to be the path back to God. Because God is holy and just, sin had to be punished. But because God is love, He sent Jesus to take that punishment for us. At the cross, Jesus died for our sins, and by His resurrection, He opened the door to new life. The Way is not religion or rules; it’s a relationship with the living Christ.
Prayer: Jesus, thank You for dying for my sins and rising again so I could have life with You. Help me to put my trust fully in You as the only Way. Amen.
7. How Do I Accept God’s Gift of Salvation?
Key Verse: “Whoever calls upon the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Romans 10:13 GW
Reflection: Going to church, being baptized, or knowing about God isn’t enough. Salvation is not about religion—it’s about a relationship. To be saved, you must put your trust in Jesus Christ and what He did for you on the cross. Faith means surrendering your life to Him and receiving His gift of forgiveness and eternal life.
Prayer: Dear God, thank You for loving me and wanting me as Your friend. I confess my sins and ask for Your forgiveness. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. Today, I trust Him as my Savior and choose to follow Him as Lord. Amen.
Assurance: If you prayed this sincerely, the Bible promises that you are saved. Welcome to God’s family!
